Woodland management training course - Sun, 1 Mar 2015 - 10:00 to 16:00

Want to know more about how you can help keep your local woodland healthy and make it an enjoyable and accessible place for everyone? This training course led by expert forester Donald McPhillimy will introduce you to the basics of woodland managenent.

    The day will start with an explanation of some of the theory underlying management and practices before moving into a practical session covering techniques such as pruning, thinning and the marking and felling  of tree's in accordance with a management plan.

    This event will be free of charge however due to the nature of the training the course is limited to 14 participants so please book in advance using the contact details below.
