Place-name Walk from Dollar to Harviestoun - Walk 2 - Sat, 22 Jun 2013 - 9:30
Have you ever wondered about the origins of names such as Harviestoun, Sheardale and the Burn of Sorrow? Join the members of the Glasgow University Scottish Toponymy in Transition project on our circular walk from Dollar to Harviestoun and find out about the language and landscape history of the area through its place-names. There will be an opportunity to visit the project's exhibition at Dollar Museum on the days of the walks too.

Walkers are advised to wear stout footwear and bring a snack / water. There will also be an option to join the project team for lunch after the walk (lunch option is at walkers' own expense).
